Creating Your Own Personal Fitness Plan
The simple steps to creating your own individual Fitness Plan with the Reburn app 
  1. Choose 3 goals you would like to achieve by using the app from the list provided.
  2. Tell us your fitness level.
  3. Your preferred type of workouts. Note – Your first preferred training style is the option you choose when onboarding and can be updated under Settings>Preferences>Class.
  4. The app will produce a 40-week workout plan in 8-week blocks.
  5. You can review and update your workout plan at any time.
  6. It’s your own individual workout plan – tailored specially for you.
How do I refresh or update screen data in the Reburn app?

To update screens simply pull down on the screen you want to update. You will see a reload spinner appearing on the screen above the active content on the screen.

Home
Updates Home screen only.

Workouts
Refreshing the Workouts screen updates all the Workout screens and videos including Yoga and Fitness.

Challenges
Updates all Challenges.

Discover
Updates all Blog and News posts.

Discover > Trainers
Updates all the Trainer profiles.

Profile

The workout video only displays in Portrait mode?

Please check your device settings – you can lock Portrait mode on both iPhone and Android devices, which will prevent the video from opening in Landscape mode.
Change the setting on your device to allow Landscape mode.

How safe is my personal information?

At Reburn we take our privacy obligations seriously to ensure your personal information is not shared with anyone.

How much data will Reburn use?

Our videos adapt to the speed of your network connection and phone so we can’t tell you for sure how much data it will use. On average, 5 mins can use up to 60MB.

We recommend always trying to connect to wifi before watching a Reburn workout or video.

How do I add posts on the Reburn Facebook Community site?

Please note you are required to agree to our Facebook & Forum Rules before joining our Facebook Community. Please see “Facebook and Forum Rules.

Simply go to Reburn Facebook Group page and Create a post.

Please note we do not tolerate any obscene language, rude, political, or defamatory posts. We forbid posts that are likely to offend other members or are false, misleading, or deceptive. All posts will be reviewed by a Reburn team member to ensure they adhere to our values and rules before being published on the Reburn Facebook Community Group site. We maintain the right to remove page access to those members who flout these guidelines.

How do I join the Reburn Facebook Community?

Here is a link to the Reburn Facebook Community page. Here you will find a range of blogs and posts covering topics of fitness, health, nutrition, and other important information. Other subscribers, or who we call “Members of the Reburn Community” will share success stories, tips and offer support. Feel free to share your own before and after photo’s along with your success stories to motivate others.

Do I need an internet connection to use the Reburn app?

You do need an internet connection to run the Reburn app. Please ensure that you are connected to a cellular data service, or have a stable Wi-Fi connection.

What support do you offer?

Simply email us at support@reburnapp.com and we will respond to your query within 24 hours Monday to Friday – that is our guarantee. You may find the answer to your query in our Frequently Asked Questions under HELP. We do not offer phone support.

Feel free to post your question on our private Reburn Facebook Community page and you may well find one of our members may previously had the same query and has a solution for you.

Can I do the workouts from my television screen?

If you are training at home, you can watch your coached workouts on the big screen by connecting your app to your Smart TV.

Smart TV’s
If you have a Smart TV that is connected directly to your home Wifi, you will be able to Mirror or Cast, directly to your TV from your mobile device.

iOS

  • Connect Smart TV to your WiFi network
  • Connect iOS device to the same WiFi network
  • Once connected open Apple Control Centre on your device Tap ‘Screen Mirroring’ and select the TV you wish to display on
  • Once connected, your iPhone screen should appear on your TV screen.

Android

  • Connect Smart TV to your WiFi network
  • Connect Android device to the same WiFi outlet
  • Swipe down from the top of your Android device to reveal the Quick Settings panel
  • Look for and select a button labelled Screen cast
  • A list of devices on your network may show up, be sure to select the correct TV you wish to connect to
  • Once connected your Android screen should appear on your TV screen.

Mirror your iPhone/iPad
If you have an Apple TV and would like to access all REBURN programs, you will be able to select ‘Screen Mirroring’ in your Apple Control Centre. To be able to do this simply follow our steps below.

  • Turn on Apple TV and connect to WiFi
  • Connect iPhone to the same WiFi
  • Swipe down on iPhone device to show Control Centre
  • Select ’Screen Mirroring’
  • Select Apple TV you wish to connect to
  • Enter the code provided on your iPhone screen then mirror your TV.
Can I swap between Thai and English versions of the app?

You certainly can. Even though you would have chosen a language when you signed up, you can easily change between Thai and English by navigating to the Settings screen in the app, then selecting Preferences > Language.

Simply select the language you want, then hit the Update button.

It is as simple as that.

How do I connect the Reburn app to my Apple Health App or the Google Fit App?

On iPads
If you’re using an iPad there is no Health App available. The Apple Health App has only ever been available on iPhones and iPod.

On your iPhone
If you have Apple Health setup on your iPhone, the Reburn app will automatically connect to the Apple Health App when you open the Stats tab on your Profile Screen.

If, for any reason, you disconnect from the Apple Health app, open the Apple Health app and go to Steps>Data Sources and Access (at the bottom of this screen)>change the slider next to Reburn to green. Then return to Reburn>Profile and refresh the screen.

On your Android phone
If you have Google Fit installed on your device, the Reburn app will automatically connect to the Google Fit App when you open the Stats tab on your Profile Screen.

Note that we are only extracting your weekly steps activity (along with your total walking and running distance) in this version of the Reburn app.

What type of phones will the Reburn app work on?

You can use the Reburn app on either Android or iOS devices including phones and tablets.

By using our Facebook page and private group (Reburn App) and contributing to or participating in any comments or forums, you agree to the following Terms:

  4. You may post recommendations of our program workouts. You agree to only do so in good faith, with honest, fair and non-offensive reviews, using appropriate language, truthful descriptions and helpful comments;
  5. The posting of comments, and your experiences on the Reburn App is meant to try to help other members of the group, be supportive, and to share your guidance and information. Our aim is to encourage helpful comments and feedback in a safe and secure environment and hope that you will assist, benefit and enjoy this initiative. We ask that you carefully consider any comments you may post and the impact they may have in a respectful manner;
  6. You understand and agree that we may review and delete any content, including but not limited to images, messages, photos, profiles or material that in our sole judgment violates these Terms, or that might be offensive or illegal, or that might violate the rights of, harm, or threaten the safety of users. You may be banned from using the facebook group and the Reburn App at any time, without notice, and in our sole discretion; 
  7. You understand and agree that we will take any other action, where required, against any person that does not abide by these Terms or where action is taken against us by any person, visitor or third party as a result of your Posts;
  8. Opinions, advice and all other information expressed by participants in discussions or Posts are those of the author and not anyone associated with our Reburn App. You rely on any such information at your own risk and need to make your own enquiries before taking any action related to any Post; and
  9. Any action you choose to take with any other member or person on or through the Reburn App, this or any forum, including but not limited to the provision of your personal information, telephone, email, arranging a meeting or other activities with anyone on or through any Reburn forum, is at your own risk. How to mirror the Reburn App from my phone to a laptop or TV?

There are many options available depending on the type of phone, laptop, and TV.

Why do subtitles appear on my videos?

It’s because of the setting on your iPhone.

We do not recommend the use of subtitles as the grammar displayed is not always correct.

To remove subtitles, go to Settings / Accessibility / Subtitles & Captioning / Show Audio Transcriptions.

Ensure Show Audio Transcription is turned off and you will not see subtitles on the videos.

This does not appear to be an issue with most Android phones.

Workouts

What are the LIVE Workouts?

We run LIVE weekly workout classes with a LIVE instructor in both Thai and English languages.

Simply join the LIVE class at the specified time displayed and have a real LIVE Reburn instructor as your fitness coach.

There may be dozens or thousands of other people all in the class at the same time. You will never know.

But your instructor is LIVE, not pre-recorded.

The workouts change every week.

How do I raise or lower the sound on the workout videos?

This will be connected to the sound on your device – that is, turn the sound up or down as you normally would on your phone/tablet/computer.

What is the Leaderboard?

The leaderboard is a fun way to see how you’re tracking against other users on the app. For those with a competitive spirit it might help motivate you to workout more often/more consistently.

How do the Leaderboards work?

The Workouts Leaderboard

The Workouts Leaderboard tabulates the total time of completed workouts over the last 30 days. The leader is the person who has the highest total time.

The Challenge Leaderboards

Each of the Challenge Leaderboards show a list of the leaders in each Challenge for the current calendar month. 

Note: You can opt out of having your result showing in the Leaderboards by opening the Settings icon and navigating to Preferences>Leaderboard. 

Are the workouts suitable for men?

Yes – these workouts are suitable for both men and women.

While there are definitely physiological differences between men and women, our heart and skeletal muscle responds the some way to exercise!

What workout should I start first?

You can start with any workout. Each workout gives beginner, intermediate and advanced options- making them suitable for everyone.

If you are new to exercise though, you may want to start with yoga first.

How many workouts should I do each week?

That depends! If you are coming from a background of little or no exercise, start with 1-2 per week with 30-60 minute walks on the other days.

Gradually aim to increase this to 4-5 workouts/yoga per week.

Do I need a gym?

No, the beauty of these workouts is that you don’t need a gym.

They can be performed anywhere that you have enough space to roll out a mat.

What equipment do I need?

Our workouts can be completed with no equipment.

A mat is ideal (but not essential) for the exercises done on the floor- e.g. situps. A chair or bench can also be useful for tricep dips, but there are also options available without.

What is the difference between the cardio versus strength workouts?

The cardio workouts focus more on getting the heart rate high and getting sweaty. Whereas the strength workouts are more about building and challenging the muscles- while the heart rate may rise, it won’t be too the same level as the cardio workouts.

What age groups are the workouts targeted towards?

The workouts are targeted towards anyone from 18 years old upwards.

As you get older joint issues/injuries may make some exercises and workout intensities unsuitable- always worth discussing with your doctor before starting any new exercise regime.

What is the format of the workouts?

All our workouts take approximately 30 minutes.

We use various formats- e.g. TABATA, 40 seconds work:20seconds rest, 1 minute of each exercise with rest at the end of through etc.

All the exercises are done for a specified amount of time meaning you know exactly how long the workout will take.

How do I earn Bronze. Silver and Gold badges in the app?

There are 3 ways that you can earn badges in the Reburn app:

By completing Challenges

  1. Completing 1 challenge earns you a Bronze badge
  2. Completing 50 Challenges earns you a Silver Badge
  3. Completing 100 Challenges earns you a Gold Badge.

By completing a combination of Workouts and Challenges

  1. Completing 50 Workouts and 2 Challenges earns you a Bronze badge
  2. Completing 100 Workouts and 3 Challenges earns you a Silver Badge
  3. Completing 200 Workouts and 5 Challenges earns you a Gold Badge.

By achieving the best result for each Challenge type during a calendar month

  1. Highest number of pushups in 2 minutes 
  2. Fastest 5km time trial
  3. Longest plank hold 
  4. Highest number of burpess in 1 minute
  5. Highest number of body weight squats in 1 minute.
Is 30 minutes per workout enough to get results?

Certainly is! When it comes to health exercise is just one piece of the puzzle. If you are combining 30 minutes of exercise with a great diet and enough sleep, you are ticking the boxes when it comes to feeling your best.

That being said- you want to give everything you’ve got in these workouts as you only get out what you put in.

I'm very fit. Which workouts should I start with?

If you are fit/a regular exerciser- dive straight in with the workout of your choice. If you are fit but not used to this style of training, you may want to start with the beginner options. Even when you are fit, a different kind of training can often result in Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (aka DOMS).

I'm not very fit. Which workouts should I start with?

If you are just starting or easing back in to exercising, consider starting with the yoga videos. From there you may want to progress in to the strength workouts- choosing the beginner options.

How often do you add more workouts?

On a regular basis, we add new workouts in both Thai and English.

What is the difference between the different yoga categories?

We have 4 yoga categories – Yoga for strength focuses on challenging holds, lots of core workout and moves at a fast pace; Yoga for flexibility focuses on stretching out the muscles and improving flexibility in the long term; Yoga for relaxation is all about slowing down, reducing stress with a real focus on the breath. Pre Natal-Yoga is for pregnant women but we do strongly recommend you consult with you medical practitioner if pregnant before commencing.

What are the challenges for?

The challenges allow you to gauge how you are improving. Regular strength training makes the muscles stronger and regular cardio improves cardiovascular (aka heart) fitness.

The challenges serve as a benchmark to see your improvements.

Can I do the workouts with an injury?

Before commencing any physical activity post injury, you should check with your treating medical practitioner.

Accounts & Subscriptions

How do I change my email address?

You will have to cancel your old subscription and start a new one with the new email address.

How do I update or change my payment details?

You can only change your payment details via your Apple ID  or your Google Play Store ID.

The simplest way to do that is to navigate to your Settings, then to Payment details, where we have provided a link to either the Apple or Google payment system on your device.

How do I reset my password?

There is an option to reset your password on the login screen, simply click on the link and you will be guided through the process of changing your password.

Note: You will only encounter this issue if you have signed up with your email address. If you signed up with Google, Facebook or Apple you shouldn’t have this issue.

I forgot my password - what do I do?

When I try to log in it says my password is invalid?

How do I update my profile?

To update your profile select Profile (bottom right of screen). You will find the gear icon on the top right corner of the screen. Tap on the gear icon to navigate to Settings.

You will find a list of options on this screen including Personal details. On this screen you will find the options to update your profile including changing your profile photo or adding/updating your nickname.

What is your refund policy?

As per our Terms of Use there will be no refunds or credits for subscriptions, for partial months of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds or refunds for months of unused with an open account. To treat everyone equally, no exceptions will be made.

Am I locked into a contract?

No, you are not locked into any contract beyond the time remaining on your membership plan whether this be the monthly or yearly option. 

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to your Settings screen (the gear icon) and open the Subscription tab. Within that screen, there is a link to Manage subscription which will take you to either your Apple or Google manage subscriptions screen where you can cancel your subscription.

Please note no pro rata refunds are offered. If you have a monthly membership you are unable to receive a refund of any part of your monthly membership paid in advance. The same applies to a yearly membership. Any cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your next membership renewal period commences, whether this be monthly or yearly. 

What are the monthly and yearly payment options?

The monthly payment plan is $10 AUD. There is a discount of 20% if you take up the yearly option which is $96 AUD equivalent to $8 AUD per month. The yearly option is required to be paid upfront with no refund should you decide to cancel within a 12-month billing cycle.

If you subscribed via the iOS app, you can find details on how to cancel it in your Apple Settings>Apple ID>Subscriptions.

If you subscribed via the Android app, you can find details on how to cancel in Settings on your device, then open Google Settings > Manage your Google Account > Payments and Subscriptions.

Is the Reburn app free?

You can download for FREE the 14-day trial from the App Store or Google Play Store. You will have access to all the exercise and yoga workouts along with all the other features of the app for free for 14 days.

What happens after the expiry of the 14-day free trial?

Unless you complete a paid subscription, you will lose all access to the app after 14 days.

With changes in technology and a considerable sum of money spent on Research and Development we are continually working on improving the Reburn app to ensure it is one of the world’s leading fitness and yoga apps in its price range. We will also be adding some exciting new products in the nutrition and lady’s fitness clothing area in the future. Innovation and technology are part of our DNA.
